Maria
Vais

I was born in Kiev, Ukraine, and moved with my family to Brooklyn, NY when I was five years old. I am a wife and mother of two children + 1 dog, and owner of a private psychotherapy practice. I’m thrilled to be part of this program, as I hope it will deepen my understanding of the significance of Israel and strengthen my connection to my Jewish roots. I enjoy new experiences, culture and food, spending time with my family and friends and planning travels around the world. I look forward to connecting with the JPA community!

Reznik

Inna Reznik is a governmental finance executive with extensive experience in public accounting. Inna is a CPA, she holds an MBA from SUNY Oswego and a Bachelor degree from CUNY Brooklyn college. Inna is a proud mother of three beautiful daughters and a grandmother of six. Born and raised in the former USSR, Inna’s family immigrated to United States in 1990. Her passions are traveling, reading, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

I have resided in Hewlett with my wife and children since 2006. I also serve as the trustee of the village of Hewlett Harbor. I am a Financial Professional specializing in Structured Finance. My hobbies are playing tennis and skiing.

I have been living in Hewlett since 2006 along with my husband and three children. I am in the finance field and my interests include traveling and spending time with friends and family.

Levine

My name is Flora Levine. I was born in Key of Ukraine. We moved to United States in 1992. I went to Brooklyn College for my undergrad, there after I graduated from SUNY College of optometry and have been working at a private practice since then. We have two children Allison, who is 25 and Samuel, who is 19.

Krasovitsky

Im 45 years old Ukrainian born Jewish woman and came to US in 1990. I am married for 19 years and have 2 boys 17 and 10 year old. I got my masters degree in special education and been working with early intervention for 18 years. I love to receive more knowledge about Judaism and share it with my family.

Khazan

Originally from Moscow, we live in Five Towns since late 90s, raising 3 kids. I work in biotech, and when not in the lab you can often find me kayaking off Woodmere Docks, skating in Grant Park or biking. Family game nights are popular in our house too, all are welcome!

I grew up in Moscow, where I studied math, physics and met Masha. We came to NY in 1993 and raised 3 kids, but I continued to study math :) I am a Robotics software engineer by day, pingpong junkie by night, volunteer math & science tutor on weekends. You may remember the nerd manning the science tent at Arts Below Sunrise on our Broadway. Come play at our pingpong club in Oceanside JCC where I volunteer!

My name is Vicky. I have lived in 5 Towns for 25 years. My kids have graduated Hewlett High School. I am a pharmacist and a Republican. I love movies, art and music. Photography is my passion. I enjoy learning new things through classes and conversation. Travel and meeting interesting people brings me joy.

Konstantin
Elkinyuk

Born in Samara, Russia Konstantin immigrated to the USA in 1994 at the age of 15. He finished high school and graduated with BS in CS from Polytechnic University in Brooklyn. Konstantin has been working in software engineering since. He is joining JPA again to broaden his education.

I came to the U.S. in 1990 at the age of 12 from Kharkiv, Ukraine. Lived in Queens until 2017 before moving to Woodmere. Married with 2 kids, 13 and 15 year old girls.
Currently working as a Chief Information Security Officer at a financial company in NYC. I am proud to join Five Towns Leadership Team in 2025.

I came to USA in 1989 from Kiev Ukraine and settled in New York ever since. I am married with two children and I own my own business.

Dalia
Tetelman

Dalia was born in Vilna, Lithuania, moved to Israel as a baby where she grew up until she moved to New York as a teen. She lived in Forest-Hills, Queens; graduated from Queens college with a BA in French and then got her law degree from The Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. Dalia practices general corporate law in Woodmere.  She is also a certified yoga and RYC teacher. She lives in Hewlett, Long Island, with her husband, Dorian, 4 children and chocolate Labrador.

Kopach

My name is Irena Kopach, I’m a wife and a mother of 4. We take great pride in our Jewish identity and we raise our family with strong Jewish values with strong ties to our homeland, Israel. I look forward to joining JPA and taking the knowledge we acquire to inspire and teach our kids as well as spread the message within my social and professional circles.

Gershkovich

Irina moved to the USA with her family as a teen from Chust, Ukraine. Both of her paternal grandparents were Holocaust survivors so she grew up in a family that kept Jewish traditions. Currently she lives with her husband, 3 children, dog and bunny in Hewlett. Irina believes it is important to know her roots and is excited to join JPA to deeper understand her Russian and Jewish heritage and to give back to her Jewish community.

Jacoby

Eddie's family immigrated to the United States from Tashkent in 1989, when he was 14. He graduated from St John's University with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and has over 25 years of experience in leading, managing and building financial software for asset management firms in New York. Together with his wife Eleonora and their children, the family resides in the Five Towns. Growing up with a limited exposure to Judaism in the former Soviet Union, Eddie is passionate about ensuring his children have a meaningful connection to their Jewish identity and Israel. He is thrilled to become part of the JPA program and looks forward to engaging with individuals who share similar perspectives and aspirations.

Kern

Inna Kern is a Marketing Executive at ESPN. She has been a strong advocate for Jewish education within her community and an active board member of various Jewish community organizations. A proud graduate of the Wexner Heritage Foundation RSJ cohort where her resolve for community leadership was strengthened. She resides in Woodmere with her husband and three children. Inna attended Beer Hagolah for high school and Brooklyn College graduating in 1996.
